Bartek Macias was born in Cracow and is a graduate of the Architecture
Faculty at the Technical University of Cracow, a visual arts creator and director
of animation. He is co-founder of an animation and post-production studio
Lunapark and also a founder and creative director of Yes Eye Do! initiatives,
created to promote modern art. He is co-creator of the renowned installation
in the Polish pavilion during the international EXPO Fair 2012 in Shanghai.
He is a pioneer in the adaptation of moving graphics and incorporating them
in the scene space in opera and theatre productions. His achievements
include a number of collaborations with acclaimed directors including
Grzegorz Jarzyna, Mariusz Treliñski, Keith Warner and Amon Miyamoto. He
has been collaborating with WWAA and Boris Kudlička creating theatre and
opera projects all over the world. The art installation ‘Spirala – Tribute to
Marek Leykam’ was created by Bartek and another multimedia artist Darek
Błaszczyk, and was shown to a broad audience during the Night of the
Museums 2013 in the Art Yard Sale in Warsaw’s Uffico Primo.
