Claire was born in Staffordshire and studied singing at the Royal Northern College of Music. After graduating, she joined Welsh National Opera Chorus. Claire enjoys performing regularly on the concert platform and with her own musical duo Operabelles.

Away from WNO, Claire is enjoying being a new mum to her three children, walking her dog, and thanking the Lord for coffee!
