Daniel Grice

Papageno The Magic Flute 

Daniel Grice trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and continues his studies with Robert Lloyd. His most recent operatic roles include Schaunard La boheme, Rocheford Anna Bolena, Angelotti Tosca and Another Man/ Ephraimite Moses und Aron (Welsh National Opera), Schaunard La boheme (Royal Opera House), Pastore/Spirito Orfeo (Opera National de Lorraine), and Escamillo Carmen (Royal Albert Hall). He was a member of the Royal Opera House Jette Parker Young Artist Programme from 2010 to 2012 where roles included Wagner Faust, Hunter Rusalka, Marquis d’Obigny La traviata, Pinellino Gianni Schicchi, Soldier/Mercure Les Troyens, Enrico L’isola disabitata, Fiorello Il barbiere di Siviglia, Commissioner Madama Butterfly. He has also sung Papageno The Magic Flute (English Touring Opera), Bogdanowitsch The Merry Widow (Scottish Opera), Nick Shadow The Rake’s Progress (Iford Arts and Aldeburgh Festival), Prince de Bouillon Adriana Lecouvreur, Medico, Sicario and Servo Macbeth and Leuthold Guillaume Tell (Chelsea Opera Group). Daniel’s future projects include Zoroastro Orlando (WNO).
