Fiona Harrison

Second Naked Virgin, Solo Voice Moses und Aron

Fiona Harrison was born in Berkshire and received her BA (Hons) in Music from Durham University before gaining her Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal College of Music. She also studied at Cardiff International Academy
of Voice with Dennis O’Neill in 2009. Fiona joined the WNO Chorus in 2002 where roles have included Donna Elvira Don Giovanni, First Lady The Magic Flute, First Bridesmaid The Marriage of Figaro, Voice from above Don Carlos, Plaintive Trial by Jury, Sylvianne The Merry Widow, Rusalka and Cunegonde Candide in Chorus!, Masha The Queen of Spades, Forester’s Wife The Cunning Little Vixen, Bridesmaid Lohengrin, and with WNO MAX she has sung Queen of Night Magic Voices and West Wind The Boy who went to the West Wind, both by John O’Hara. Other operatic engagements include Countess The Marriage of Figaro, Madam Laura The Two Barons of Rocca Azzurra by Cimarosa (Bampton Opera); Lisa Land of Smiles by Lehár, Holst’s Savitri and soprano solo in Stravinsky’s Les Noces (Bath International Festival).
