Jack O’Kelly is from County Carlow in Ireland. He studied with Veronica Dunne in Dublin, and won Best Male Voice in The Golden Voice of Ireland Competition. His operatic debut was with Opera Theatre Company as Guglielmo Così fan tutte. In 1988 he sang Masetto Don Giovanni for Dublin Grand Opera. He has worked in oratorio and on the concert platform with the RTÉ orchestra, and was a member of the RTÉ Chamber Choir. Jack joined the WNO Chorus in 1988 where roles have included Alessio La sonnambula, Baron Douphol La traviata, Man in Crowd Tornrak, José Castro La fanciulla del West, Marullo Rigoletto, Minister Iphigénie en Tauride, Silvano Un ballo in maschera, Gaoler Tosca, Custom House Sergeant La bohème, Narumov The Queen of Spades, Second Nazarene Salome, Woodsman Don Carlos, Officer The Barber of Seville and Monterone Rigoletto.
