Mark Le Brocq studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Kenneth Bowen and the National Opera Studio where he was sponsored by The Friends of English National Opera. He became a Company Principal with ENO where roles included Tamino The Magic Flute, Paris King Priam, Count Almaviva The Barber of Seville, Narraboth Salome, Cassio Otello, Don Ottavio Don Giovanni, Don Basilio Figaro, Tonik The Two Widows, Rodriguez Don Quixote, Nathaniel The Tales of Hoffmann, Doctor Maxwell The Silver Tassie. Other engagements include title role Idomeneo (Opera Northern Ireland); Belmonte Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Garsington Opera); The Fairy Queen (Aix-en-Provence Festival; Barcelona); Handel’s La Resurrezione, title role Il ritorno d’Ulisse
