Robyn Lyn Evans is from Ceredigion, Wales and is a graduate of Trinity College Carmarthen, where he was awarded the Stuart Burrows bursary, and a postgraduate of the Royal College of Music, London. He started 2013 by performing the role of Alfredo La traviata (Scottish Opera) and made his debut at the Longborough Festival performing as Rodolfo La bohème. This autumn season is his debut with WNO. Robyn also makes his Opera North debut in Spring 2014 performing the role of Malcolm Macbeth. Other operatic roles include Rinnuccio Gianni Schicci (Opera Project); Don José Carmen (Scottish Opera); Pinkerton Madam Butterfly (Raymond Gubbay); Nemorino L’elisir d’amore (Swansea City Opera; Pavilion Opera); Il Duca Rigoletto and Dr Blind Die Fledermaus (Pavilion Opera); Gérald Lakmé and Prince Rusalka (Opera School Wales); Ferrando Così fan tutte (Hand Made Opera); Alfredo Die Fledermaus (Bristol Opera); Abdallo Nabucco (Burry Port Opera).
