David McVicar

Director La traviata

David McVicar was born in Glasgow and trained at the Glasgow School of
Art and Royal Scottish Academy as actor, designer and director. Productions

(Opéra du Rhin). He was knighted in the 2012 Queen’s Birthday Honours list
for Services to Opera.
