General Manager, CTS

Established in 1984 as the in-house workshops for Welsh National Opera, Cardiff Theatrical Services has a reputation for building outstanding quality scenery for some of the World's leading performing arts companies, visitor attractions and exhibitions. We are now seeking to employ a General Manager to take the company forward in its future development and continue to develop CTS as the main company in the market place with innovative ideas.

Responsible for managing all operational aspects of CTS as well as key client contact, the successful candidate will have experience of managing a commercial business and an excellent understanding of scenery engineering and Health & Safety legislation. He or she will be a strategic thinker with sound financial knowledge and proven organisational, project and time management skills. A good working knowledge of the arts (preferably opera, musicals and theatre) and experience of working with international partners are desirable.
