Youth and Community
Two care workers have 30 minutes to fill a box with significant objects that will accompany a new resident to their care home. How to know which objects to take? Can you really fit a life into one box? Taking place in real time Welsh National Opera’s thought-provoking and beautiful world première ask these questions.
Inspired and drawn from working with adults with dementia, children with complex disabilities and the staff and families who support them. This live staging captures the essence of the people and stories. Performed by soloists Owen Webb, Kate Wolveridge and Claire Groom, a community chorus and members of the orchestra of Welsh National Opera.
