Welsh National Opera was born of the people for the people.  The same is true of the WNO Friends.  The WNO Friends was founded over 25 years ago by some of our most committed and enlightened supporters who, understanding the challenges involved in staging great opera, set up a new charity to raise funds to support WNO. Thankfully, this initiative was a great success!
