There have been a number of ways for members of the community to sing with Welsh National Opera for the last five years. These vary from one-off singing days, to projects exploring different singing traditions and opportunities to audition to sing in a community choir on the main stage of Wales Millennium Centre and Birmingham Hippodrome alongside Chorus and Orchestra of Welsh National Opera.

These participants are recruited on a project by project basis, and its not always necessary to audition to sing with us! A team of dedicated professionals including Tim Rhys-Evans, Kate Woolveridge, Miriam Bowen and Sharon Richards lead each project.

To complement the community choir projects, WNO also run one off Singing Days for community singers to come together, learn some music and have a great time!
