Orchestral Safari - a primary proms concert for KS 2

Join the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera as they take you on a musical journey to some of the most spectacular continents of the world! From the plains of Africa to the vast snowy wastes of the Arctic, our expert explorer will guide you and introduce you to some of the animals who live there!

Adapted from a WNO commissioned production "Song Contest of the Birds and the Beasts" (Music: Mervyn Burtch, Words: Simon Rees) this special concert will be performed by children from local primary schools, alongside the world renowned orchestra of WNO.

Including music by Stravinsky, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov and Mervyn Burtch

Wrexham Choir: Children from Alexandra Community and Hafod Y Wern Primary Schools, Wrexham
Cardiff Choir: Children from Tynewydd and Cwrt Rawlin Primary Schools, Caerphilly

Tickets are £2.50 per pupil, teachers go free. Schools who book groups of 30 children or more will get a free workshop (subject to availability) and a teachers resource pack.
