Camilla Roberts was born in Wrexham. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and attended the Guildhall Opera Course, studying with Laura Sarti.
In June 2004, Camilla won the Welsh Singers Competition and went on to represent Wales in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2005 Competition.
From 2003 to 2004, Camilla was as an Associate Artist with Welsh National Opera where her roles included Micäela Carmen, Diane Iphigenie en Tauride, Blumenmädchen Parsifal, title-role Iolanta and Laura Iolanta.
Other roles include First Lady Die Zauberflöte (Opera North; WNO), Anna Nabucco (Opera North), Tatyana Eugene Onegin (Opera Holland Park), Foreign Princess Rusalka (ETO), Marenka The Bartered Bride; Mimi La Boheme (Mid Wales Opera) and Anna Le Villi (Chelsea Opera).
Camilla has also performed at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, St John’s Smith Square, London and St David’s Hall, Cardiff. She has also toured Australia, New Zealand and Milan and is a regular guest on BBC Radio 2 "Friday night is Music Night".
Recent engagements include Adina The Elixir of Love (WNO). Future engagements include Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte (Diva Opera), Beethoven’s 9th Symphony (WNO) and Haydn’s Creation (Philharmonic Hall; Liverpool).
