Last autumn the MAX Department offered another opportunity to be involved in a Community choir Day this time based on Chorus!

Chorus was one of the productions in the WNO's autumn season and is a dramatically presented evening of great opera choruses highlighting the full Chorus and Orchestra. The show celebrates the skills and energy of the company and their ability to engage an audience in the theatrical diversity, musical breadth and emotional heartbeat of opera.

170 people joined us and our dynamic duo of Musical Director Tim Rhys-Evans and Vocal Animateur  Kate Woolveridge for a day of singing. We were joined by Karen Gillingham who directed WNO's Chorus! Karen gave an informal talk based on the staging and directing of this unique production followed by a question and answer session.
