'A cabaret of songs for women, about women, by women and sung by the women of the Welsh National Opera Chorus.
This hour-long performance consists of songs sung by the twenty women of the Welsh National Opera Chorus exploring the cycle of life, mother and daughter, sisterhood, romance, work, political solidarity, and how women's voices have been heard through song. The repertoire includes songs women have sung through history and across continents that reflect their domestic, working, and social lives.
Twenty Women Singing will tour alongside the main-house tour in Autumn 2007 and will perform to female audiences of different ages and experiences throughout England and Wales.'
