Family Workshops are interactive musical journeys where participants have the opportunity to explore the musical and dramatic themes of Opera before watching a performance in the WMC theatre.

Through our workshops we aim to provide a fun-filled learning experience for all the family. Signposting key events through story telling and sharing music, we hope to be able to offer an opportunity for all audience members, whatever age, to access opera.

The workshops allow you and your family to work alongside music professionals such as Directors, Vocal Animateurs and WNO Opera Singers who will guide you through the storylines of the opera, whilst performing familiar arias, duets and dramatic scenes.
