You can always expect an unusually sighting when walking along Scenery Street at Wales Millennium Centre, but not something quite as spectacular as when was spotted yesterday.

The fallen angel from this season's Tosca is lying in the wings ready for its appearance on the opening night, 17 February.

The angel is made of fibreglass on a wooden frame, and has a body that is four meters tall and wingspan of 6 meters! The entire length when pieced together is 9 meters, no wonder it has to be stored in four parts (body, wings, arms and base).
