WNO has produced a short series of original digital media features exploring different aspects of forthcoming productions - Click to view. New productions include Wagner’s monumental Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg with Bryn Terfel making his debut role as Hans Sachs, David McVicar’s La traviata with Myrto Papatanasiu (Violetta) and Alfie Boe (Alfredo Germont) and Simon Keenlyside returning to WNO to make his debut in the title role of Verdi’s Rigoletto. Christopher Purves reprises the title role of Wozzeck in Richard Jones’s award winning production for WNO and Amanda Roocroft returns to sing in Die Meistersinger and a revival of WNO’s timeless production of Madam Butterfly.
