The Official Charts Company launches a new chart – The Official Specialist Classical Chart.

The new chart will differ from the existing classical chart, which only requires 60% of an album' s repertoire to be classical.

This is to acknowledge performers who do not always have as much of a high profile as crossover artists.

The Official Specialist Classical Chart will be published for the first time in Gramophone Magazine.
