Proposed trip to Cardiff to celebrate WNO’s 70th birthday

On 15 April 1946, WNO performed its first two operas in Cardiff: Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni) and Pagliacci (Leoncavallo). What better way to celebrate WNO’s 70th birthday than by performing the double bill – affectionately known as Cav and Pag - that started it all?

• Stall tickets for Cav and Pag cost from £38.50 to £42.50. We hope to get good seats.

• The cost of the trip has yet to be fully costed, but will include: return coach; one night’s stay in an hotel (B&B); hopefully, a pre-performance dinner; one opera ticket; and is dependent on a minimum of 22 people.

If you are interested in this trip, please contact Roz Jones no later than 30 September 2015.

Contact Roz Jones if you need a lift to an event or are able to offer one.
