Previous Welsh National Opera Roles: 2nd Lady The Magic Flute (Spring 2008), Suzuki Madam Butterfly (Spring 2007), Maddalena Rigoletto (Summer 2005) & Lola Cavalleria rusticana (Summer 2003).

Claire Bradshaw studied at RNCM and National Opera Studio. At RNCM she won all of the college's main vocal awards and was a finalist in Kathleen Ferrier Awards. Claire currently studies with David Pollard.

While at NOS, Claire made her professional debut with Scottish Opera as Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro. Other roles include Hansel Hansel and Gretel, Maddalena Rigoletto, Dryad Ariadne auf Naxos (Scottish Opera); Lisetta Il mondo della luna (Opera Zuid); Innkeeper's Wife Cunning Little Vixen (Spoleto Festival, Italy); title role Carmen (Royal Albert Hall).

Claire created the role of Dolphin in Alec Roth's Arion and the Dolphin, commissioned by ENO's Baylis Programme, singing further performances in Singapore with Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Claire has also performed with LSO, RLPO, ECO, BBC Concert Orchestra, Hallé, Alborg Symphony Orchestra (Copenhagen) and Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.

Future plans include debut performances with Huddersfield Choral Society and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra; Oxford Bach Choir and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Choir of King's College, Cambridge with Philharmonia Orchestra.
