It is Christmas Eve, the garret is cold, Mimì’s hand is frozen and her candle needs a light.
Puccini’s masterpiece was first performed by the company in 1955 and has been a much-loved part of our main repertoire ever since. In 2012, internationally acclaimed director, Annabel Arden, will make her debut with the company. She is bringing together an exciting creative team and cast for WNO’s first new production of La bohème in nearly three decades. Carlo Rizzi, WNO’s former Music Director returns to conduct.
All we need now is your support, so light a candle...
