Trusts and Foundations play a vital role in supporting the work of Welsh National Opera and we truly value the support we receive.
In the past, Trusts and Foundations have supported main scale productions, special projects and provided valued support to the company's ongoing work.
Recent support from Trusts and Foundations have enabled the company to:
Trusts and Foundations can support Welsh National Opera in many ways.
Taking Opera Centre Stage. You could support the company to stage its programme of new productions or help us to revive much-loved classics.
Welsh National Opera plans its future repertoire well in advance of getting to the stage and Trusts & Foundations can play a vital role in supporting these at the earliest opportunity.
Our revivals often receive a very warm welcome return to the stage. Many elements of the Company will be involved in getting the production's return to the centre stage and Trusts and Foundations can be instrumental in this process.
Taking opera to new audiences. Trusts and Foundations often direct their support to Welsh National Opera’s MAX programme. The WNO MAX Programme is Welsh National Opera’s education and community outreach programme. WNO MAX produces a range of participation projects beyond the main stage across England and Wales that aim to energise communities, the company and the art form whilst encouraging creativity. Through WNO MAX, Welsh National Opera is dedicated to providing access to those people who would not normally have the opportunity, in particular children and young people.
The company delivers a varied range of projects taking place in schools and communities throughout England and Wales.
