Born in Leicestershire, Howard trained at Royal College of Music where he was awarded the John Ireland Prize. In 1998 he was awarded a Wingate Scholarship to study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s Opera Course. He has worked for Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Opera; English National Opera; English Touring Opera; Bampton Classical Opera and Wexford Festival Opera. Engagements include
