Studied at York University and Goldsmith’s College, London. Directing credits include Il trittico for Opera Zuid in the Netherlands; Les Illuminations with Diversions, the Dance Company of Wales for Cardiff International Dance Festival; Star Crossed Lovers and To Paris with Puccini for WNO. As Revival Director: The Queen of Spades, Hansel and Gretel, The Magic Flute and Tosca for WNO. Semi-staged at Birmingham Symphony Hall: Rigoletto, La traviata, Carmen and Jephtha. As Staff Director at ROH: L’Heuve Espagnol and Gianni Schicchi.

Joined WNO as Staff Director in 2001 and has worked on over 20 productions for the company.
