Carolyn has a diploma from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Prior to joining WNO, Carolyn was in the chorus of Scottish Opera for three years before working as a freelance singer both in the UK and overseas.
Carolyn’s personal highlight at WNO so far has been performing the role of Mr Mole in The Cunning Little Vixen: 'It was the first opera my youngest son came to and he has been hooked ever since!'
Away from WNO, Carolyn likes staying active, enjoying running and badminton. She is learning Welsh to keep up with the rest of the family and enjoys being creative with knitting and crocheting.
