Mark Jonathan

Mark has worked extensively during his career in opera, ballet, drama and musical theatre across the world, including Antwerp, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Florence, Helsinki, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico, Munich, New York, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Strasbourg, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Vienna and Washington. He has also worked throughout the UK, including Glyndebourne, The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Scottish Opera, Buxton Festival, Opera Holland Park, Longborough Festival, Grange Festival, London’s West End, and the National Theatre - where he was Head of Lighting. Previous productions for WNO include Dead Man Walking, Fidelio, The Consul, The Prisoner, Pelléas et Mélisande, I puritani and Lulu, for which he received a nomination for the Knight of Illumination and then he subsequently won the award for Vanessa at Glyndebourne.
