Natalya Romaniw

Natalya Romaniw is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal in her final year. Since graduating, she has won many competitions including the Loveday Song Prize, the Kathleen Ferrier Award in 2012, and was a prize winner in the Houston Grand Opera Eleanor McCollum Competition. Natalya was also winner of the Young Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2020, Singer Award at the Royal Philharmonic Society 2020 Awards, 2017 operatic nominee in The Times breakthrough category of the Southbank Sky Arts Awards, 2016 Critic’s Choice Award for Music, and a finalist for the Song Prize in Cardiff Singer of the World 2009.

Recent engagements: title roles of Tosca (house debut ROH), Ariadne auf Naxos, Rusalka (Garsington Opera), and Jenůfa (house debut Opéra de Rouen Normandie); Blanche Dialogues de Carmélites and Ortlinde Die Walküre (Houston Grand Opera).
