Meet WNO

Siân Cameron

Siân Cameron is a graduate of Royal Academy of Music (RAM) and Wales International Academy of Voice. She was an artist for Live Music Now for six years and is a Britten Pears scholar. Siân was awarded an HRH Prince of Wales Award, a Fidelio Trust Award, The John Lewis Award and the Warne Award (RAM).  She has worked with WNO Youth Opera for over 15 years. As a soloist she has sung many roles including, Sesto La clemenza di Tito (Teatru Manoel, Malta); Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro (Kilden Theatre, Norway); Dorabella Così fan tutte (Dubrovnik Summer Opera); Second Lady The Magic Flute (La fabrique opera, France).  For WNO she has covered the roles of Cherubino, Jade Boucher (Dead Man Walking) and Rychtárka (Jenůfa).  This summer she will perform the role of La Speranza in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo for Longborough Festival Opera.
