Tomáš Hanus

Conductor War and Peace / La Cenerentola

Tomáš Hanus was born in Brno and came to prominence during the Conductors' International Competition in Katowice in 1999. He is now recognised as one of the Czech Republic's most exciting and important conductors. Tomáš became Music Director of WNO in August 2016, making his debut in this role conducting Mahler's Symphony No 2 at St David's Hall. The role of WNO Music Director is supported by Marian & Gordon Pell.
